Description:
Anti-FUBP3 Antibody | 07-742
Promotional Text:
Specificity:
This antibody recognizes FUBP3.
Molecular Weight:
~ 62 kDa
Epitope:
Internal
Immunogen:
KLH-conjugated linear peptide corresponding to human FUBP3.
Background Information:
The three far-upstream element (FUSE) binding proteins (FBP1, FBP2, and FBP3) belong to an ancient family of single-stranded DNA binding proteins which are required for proper regulation of the c-myc proto-oncogene. The FBP, FBP2, and FBP3 genes are located on different chromosomes in mice and humans. However, their primary sequences are closely related. The FPB proteins are believed to be multifunctional. Besides regulating the transcription of c-myc (and quite likely other targets), the FBP family has been shown to bind a variety of RNAs in vitro.
Species Reactivity:
- Human
- Mouse
- Rat
- Primate
