PI3 Kinase (p110α(E545K)/p85α), Murine, 10 μg
Description:
PI3 Kinase (p110α(E545K)/p85α), Murine
Qty/Pk:
10 μg
Product Overview:
Complex of N-terminal 6His-tagged, recombinant, full-length mouse p110α containing the mutation E545K and untagged, recombinant, full length mouse p85α.
Background Information:
The E545K substitution is associated with a number of human cancers. This residue is conserved between the human and mouse sequences of p110α. Combined in vitro and in vivo studies have shown that this mutation confers higher lipid kinase activity than wild type, and is able to induce oncogenic transformation.
Applications:
10 μg of PI3 Kinase (p110α(E545K)/p85α), Murine. Complex of N-terminal 6His-tagged, recombinant, full-length mouse p110α containing the mutation E545K and untagged, recombinant, full length mouse p85α. For use in Kinase Assays.
Key Applications:
Kinase Assay
Entrez Gene Summary:
Phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase is composed of an 85 kDa regulatory subunit and a 110 kDa catalytic subunit. The protein encoded by this gene represents the catalytic subunit, which uses ATP to phosphorylate PtdIns, PtdIns4P and PtdIns(4,5)P2. This gene has been found to be oncogenic and has been implicated in cervical cancers.
UniProt Summary:
