Activity was measured by titrating 164ng of MDM2/CK1δ enzyme in a ubiquitination assay. Data shown for a representative lot.

Purity was assessed by SDS-PAGE and Coomassie blue staining using 3µg of active MDM2/CK1δ. Confirmed identity as MDM2 and CK1δ by mass spectrometry.

MDM2/CK1δ Protein, active

Description:
MDM2/CK1δ, active
Trade Name:
Upstate (Millipore)
Qty/Pk:
Background Information:
MDM2 is an E3 ubiquitin ligase that regulates the turnover of several cellular factors including the p53 tumour suppressor protein and notably MDM2 itself. The suppression of p53 activity by an amplified Mdm2 gene has been observed in many tumours, including soft tissue sarcomas, osteosarcomas and breast tumours.
Applications:
Bulk quantity of MDM2/CK1δ. Active, full length, recombinant human MDM2 (N-terminal GST-tagged) combined in vitro with CK1δ, active (Item # 14-520). For use in Enzyme Assays. Functions as an E3 ligase in ubiquitination assays.
Key Applications:
Enzyme Assay
