Product Overview:
The Epidermal Keratinocyte Medium kit (Cat. No. CnT-02CF) is a Calcium-free culture system that was developed for use in the differentiation of mouse and human keratinocytes and may also be used to isolate mouse keratinocytes. This liquid culture medium kit includes both basal medium and separate supplements. CnT-02CF is a fully defined, serum and BPE-free formulation, which contains 0.07 mM calcium. It does not contain antibiotics / antimycotics. The basal medium contains amino acids, minerals, vitamins and organic compounds, but is protein and calcium free.
CnT-02CF was developed for improved isolation and growth of mouse keratinocytes, and differentiation of both mouse and human keratinocytes. Optimized using an array of super-sensitive mouse strains, CnT-02CF delivers excellent in vitro growth of mouse and human epidermal keratinocytes as a result of its highly optimized basal formulation and supplement profile.

Antibiotics/ Antimycotics may be added if desired; CELLnTEC products CnT-ABM10, CnT-ABM20 or CnT-ABM will provide a final concentration of 100 U/mL Penicillin, 100 µg/mL Streptomycin and 250 ng/mL Amphotericin B.
This medium is designed for use in a 5% CO2 atmosphere.
