Product Overview:
Progenitor Cell Targeted Bladder Epithelium Medium, catalog number CnT-18, is a progenitor cell targeted liquid culture medium kit including both basal medium and separate supplements. CnT-18 is a fully defined, serum and BPE-free formulation, developed for maximum efficiency isolation and growth of bladder epithelium. It does not contain antibiotics / antimycotics*. The basal medium contains amino acids, minerals, vitamins and organic compounds, but is protein free.

Application Notes:
Developed for maximum efficiency isolation and growth of bladder epithelium. Formulated for human epithelium, but may be used for other species as well. For suggested seeding densities, please refer to "Suggested Seeding Densities for CELLnTEC Media" in protocols tab. PCT media are intended for isolation and growth of progenitor cells, and are highly effective in delaying the onset of differentiation. For differentiation applications, the use of a non-PCT formulation is recommended, in this case CnT-21 (Bladder Epithelium Medium).
Antibiotics/ Antimycotics may be added if desired; CELLnTEC products CnT-ABM10, CnT-ABM20 or CnT-ABM will provide a final concentration of 100 U/mL Penicillin, 100 µg/mL Streptomycin and 250 ng/mL Amphotericin B.
This medium is designed for use in a 5% CO2 atmosphere.
Antibiotics/ Antimycotics may be added if desired; CELLnTEC products CnT-ABM10, CnT-ABM20 or CnT-ABM will provide a final concentration of 100 U/mL Penicillin, 100 µg/mL Streptomycin and 250 ng/mL Amphotericin B.
