Product Overview:
CnT-22 is a liquid culture medium kit including both basal medium and separate supplements. CnT-22 is a fully defined, low calcium, serum and BPE-free formulation, developed for differentiation of mammary epithelium. It does not contain antibiotics or antimycotics. The basal medium contains amino acids, minerals, vitamins and organic compounds, but is protein free.

Application Notes:
Developed for differentiation of human mammary epithelium. For suggested seeding densities, please refer to "Suggested Seeding Densities for CELLnTEC Media" in protocols tab. Formulated for human mammary epithelium, but may be used for other species as well. If using CnT-27 to isolate mammary epithelium, cells should be transferred from CnT-27 medium to CnT-22 medium prior to induction of differentiation. Differentiation may require addition of 1mM calcium. See protocols for more information.
Antibiotics/ Antimycotics may be added if desired; CELLnTEC products CnT-ABM10, CnT-ABM20 or CnT-ABM will provide a final concentration of 100 U/mL Penicillin, 100 µg/mL Streptomycin and 250 ng/mL Amphotericin B.
This medium is designed for use in a 5% CO2 atmosphere.
