Description:
Milli-Mark™ Anti-Sp1-FITC
Trade Name:
Milli-Mark
Specificity:
Antibody recognizes Human Sp1.
Molecular Weight:
80.7 kDa Calculated
Immunogen:
Recombinant Protein corresponding to Human Sp1.
Isotype:
IgG
Background Information:
Sp1 is a human transcription factor involved in gene expression in the early development of an organism. The SP1 transcription factor contains a zinc finger protein motif, by which it binds directly to DNA and enhances gene transcription. Sp1 has always been described as a ubiquitous transcription factor that is required for the constitutive and inducible expression of a variety of genes, such as in cell cycle or mammalian development.
Species Reactivity:
Human
Species Reactivity Note:
Tested and passed on Human. Uncojugated version (Cat. No. 07-645) is known to recognize Mouse and Rat.
Control:
HeLa cells.
Quality Assurance:
Evaluated by flow cytometry using HeLa cells.
Purification Method:
Protein A Purified
Presentation:
Purified rabbit polyclonal IgG conjugated to FITC in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 15 mg/mL BSA.
Storage Conditions:
Maintain refrigerated at 2-8 °C protected from light in undiluted aliquots for up to 6 months from date of receipt.
