MilliTrace ReNcell Neural Stem Cell Maintenance Medium contains a defined serum-free, growth factor-free medium that has been optimized for the growth and in vitro differentiation of the MilliTrace ReNcell GFP Reporter Human Neural Stem Cell Lines. When in used in conjunction with FGF and EGF, the maintenance medium will allow for the proliferation of the MilliTrace ReNcell GFP Reporter Human Neural Stem Cell Lines. Withdrawal of the growth factors from the medium will result in the spontaneous differentiation of the cells. Puromycin solution is provided to help maintain the expression of the green fluorescent protein (GFP) labeled transgene.

ReNcell Neural Stem Cell Maintenance Medium (Catalog No. SCM005) should be stored at -20°C until ready to use. Upon thawing, the maintenance medium should be stored at 2-8°C and given a one month expiration dating.
