Product Overview:
Pancreatic Cell Culture Medium is intended for the preparation of complete cell culture medium in conjunction with Pancreatic Cell Culture Supplement (SCR015). This complete medium is optimized for the culture of LT2 Immortalized Pancreatic Mesenchymal Cells (SCR013) and VIT1 Primary Pancreatic Mesenchymal Cells (SCR014).

Application Notes:
PROCEDURES: Add 900 mL of water for injection (WFI or comparable product) to a suitable container. The water should be at room temperature. While stirring, add the entire contents of a single bottle of Pancreatic Cell Culture Medium (SCR016). Rinse out the bottle with a small volume of WFI and add to the solution. Add 29.33 mL of Sodium Bicarbonate Solution (Specialty Media, TMS-004-C) and continue stirring until completely dissolved. Bring the solution to a volume of 1 liter with WFI. Sterile filter the basal medium solution into an aseptic container using a 0.2 micron filter (e.g., Nalgene, 295-4520).

Storage Conditions:
It is recommended that the Pancreatic Cell Culture Medium be maintained within a tissue culture incubator, equilibrated to 37°C and 5% CO2. Transfer 150 to 200 mL to a T-75 flask equipped with a vented cap to ensure gas exchange with the medium. Store the remaining liquid at 2-8°C in the dark. Addition of non-prescribed supplements to the medium may alter stability.
