Product Overview:
PCT Epidermal & Vaginal Epithelium Medium , catalog number CnT-03, is developed for maximum isolation efficiency and growth of rat keratinocytes. CnT-03 is a progenitor cell targeted (PCT) liquid culture medium kit including both basal medium and separate supplements. CnT-03 is a fully defined, serum and BPE-free formulation. It does not contain antibiotics / antimycotics. The basal medium contains amino acids, minerals, vitamins and organic compounds, but is protein free.

Application Notes:
Developed for maximum efficiency isolation and growth of epidermal and vaginal epithelium. For suggested seeding densities, please refer to "Suggested Seeding Densities for CELLnTEC Media" in protocols tab. Formulated for rat epithelium, but may be used for other species as well. PCT media are intended for isolation and growth of progenitor cells, and are highly effective in delaying the onset of differentiation. For differentiation applications, the use of a non-PCT formulation, CnT-33, is recommended.
Antibiotics/ Antimycotics may be added if desired; CELLnTEC products CnT-ABM10, CnT-ABM20 or CnT-ABM will provide a final concentration of 100 U/mL Penicillin, 100 µg/mL Streptomycin and 250 ng/mL Amphotericin B.
This medium is designed for use in a 5% CO2 atmosphere.
