Product Overview:
CnT-34 is a liquid culture medium kit, developed for culture of small airway epithelium, including both basal medium and separate supplements. CnT-34 is a fully defined, low calcium, serum and BPE-free formulation which contains 10nM retinoic acid. It does not contain antibiotics / antimycotics*. The basal medium contains amino acids, minerals, vitamins and organic compounds, but is protein free.

Application Notes:
Developed for culture of small airway epithelium. For suggested seeding densities, please refer to "Suggested Seeding Densities for CELLnTEC Media" in protocols tab. Formulated for rat epithelium, but may be used for other species as well. Differentiation may require the addition of 1mM calcium or equivalent.
Antibiotics/ Antimycotics may be added if desired; CELLnTEC products CnT-ABM10, CnT-ABM20 or CnT-ABM will provide a final concentration of 100 U/mL Penicillin, 100 µg/mL Streptomycin and 250 ng/mL Amphotericin B.
This medium is designed for use in a 5% CO2 atmosphere.
Antibiotics/ Antimycotics may be added if desired; CELLnTEC products CnT-ABM10, CnT-ABM20 or CnT-ABM will provide a final concentration of 100 U/mL Penicillin, 100 µg/mL Streptomycin and 250 ng/mL Amphotericin B.

Supplemented medium with retinoic acid: Store at 4°C, completely protected from light and with minimized oxygen exposure (store in full containers). Use within 1 month of supplementation.
