Glucagon RIA
Description:
Glucagon RIA
Background Information:
Glucagon is a 3,5 kDa hormone secreted by the A cells of the Islets of Langerhans in the pancreas and is involved in regulation of glucose homeostasis thro µgh enhanced synthesis and mobilization of glucose in the liver, and regulation of glucose-stimulated insulin secretion.
