Background Information:
Cytokines play a fundamental role in the pathogenesis of many diseases and are key targets for drug development. The discovery that soluble cytokine receptors are involved in regulating excessive inflammatory responses and modulating immune events has stimulated significant research interest in their potential role as immunotherapeutic agents. Many of these soluble cytokine receptors have the ability to inhibit the binding and biological activity of their cytokine ligands, making them very specific cytokine antagonists. The Mouse Soluble Cytokine Receptor Premixed 13 Plex Kit quantitatively measures the soluble cytokine receptor biomarkers in mouse serum, plasma, cell/tissue culture supernatant, tissue/cell lysate, or other body fluid samples, in a premixed kit.
