Prep/Scale Spiral Wound Module

Only one analog pressure gauge comes with the Prep/Scale holder. If you desire operation with two gauges, you may purchase an extra analog pressure gauge with catalog number: B26524. Alternatively, you may purchase the Digital Pressure Gauge Kit which contains two high accuracy pressure gauges with 3/4" sanitary clamp fittings to attach to the Prep/Scale holder.

Problem: Probable Cause Corrective Action Fitting Leak Tube/fitting cracked. Inspect, replace part NPT fitting not wrapped adequately with Teflon tape. Remove old tape, re-tape End of tubing not cut squarely. Cut tube square and reinstall Missing O-ring or ferrule on fast & tite fittings or triclover sanitary gasket. Replace missing component, gasket, or entire fitting Loose clamp. Tighten clamp Oversized clamp. Replace clamp with smaller diameter clamp Loose Holder Tighten holder Improper flushout of chemical Flush with additional water Feed line sucking air Make sure feed line is fixed below fluid/air interface Vortex in feed container Add baffle to break vortex or reduce mixing speed Retentate splashing in feed container Fix retentate line below fluid/air interface Pump cavitation Check pump tubing to pump for obstruction; remove obstruction or replace damaged/collapsed tubing
