Millipak Filling Machine Disposable Filter Units

Description

Millipak filling machine filters are designed for point-of-use filtration at the filling head. They may be used for either final sterilization (0.22 µm units) or particle removal (5.0 µm units). The stacked disc design allows minimal hold-up volume and particle shedding, making Millipak units ideally suited for high-value added applications. Millipak filling machine filters are made with Durapore PVDF membranes, providing high flow rates and throughputs, low extractables, broad chemical compatibility and the lowest protein binding of any membrane available. These filters are designed with a raised vent and an easy-to-use vent cap. Each unit is 100% integrity tested during manufacture to guarantee integrity.

For traceability and easy identification, each Millipak filling machine filter is labelled with its catalogue number, lot number, pore size and serial number.

Typical Applications

       • Final sterilization at the filling head
