MultiScreen® PCRµ96 MultiScreen PCR96 and MultiScreen PCR384 Filter Plates
Millipore's PCR filter plates are fast, automatable solutions for high-throughput PCR purification. Available in 96- and 384-well formats as well as micro 96-well format for small volume PCR product purification, MultiScreen PCR plates provide high purity and high recovery with a much shorter protocol and fewer handling steps than other methods.
The plates use a size-exclusion membrane and vacuum filtration to provide a one-step protocol for excellent results. No centrifugation or precipitation steps are required. This membrane technology also allows for all sample recovery from the top of the plate to enhance compatibility with liquid handling systems.
MultiScreen PCRµ96 and PC384 filter plates provide high recovery on even the smallest miniaturized reactions. Working volumes of <150 µL conserve reaction reagents and save money. For larger reaction volumes (>150 µL), use MultiScreen PCR96 96-well filter plate.
• Automation compatible
• No centrifugation or precipitation
• Excellent capacity, purity and recovery

MultiScreen PCR96 Filter Plate
Protocol
| 1. | Load PCR reactions. |
| 2. | Filter with Millipore vacuum manifold for 5–10 minutes or until wells are dry. |
| 3. | Add water or buffer to each well. Agitate by shaking or pipetting. Retrieve purified samples by aspiration. |

MultiScreen PCRµ96 filter plate demonstrates superior PCR recovery over competitive ultrafiltration-based cleanup kits. Pooled PCR reactions (100 µmL/well) were applied to MultiScreen PCRµ96 and competitors' plates and processed according to their response protocols. The average recovery for each PCR product (137 and 301 bp, n=24) was estimated via a SYBR® green (molecular probes) assay.
