Steritop™ Filter Units

Vacuum-driven bottle-top devices
Steritop bottle top filter units provide a large filter area for rapid sterile filtration of aqueous fluids into narrow-mouth (33 mm) or wide-mouth (45 mm) bottles. A small tab inside the funnel secures an optional prefilter in-place during filtration. For added protection against contamination, the threads for bottle attachment have been slightly recessed in case the funnel accidentally touches a work surface.


Receiver and storage bottles for Steritop units are available as accessory items.

An AP20 glass fiber prefilter disc may be placed in the funnel on top of the membrane and secured by a convenient tab for difficult-to-filter solutions. Prefilters must be ordered separately: catalogue number AP20 075 00, 100/pk.

Once filtered, this media was used to passage mouse stem cells five times to verify that Steritop-GP filtration does not impact pluripotency of mouse stem cells.
