What sets an IsoPak column apart is its automated packing and unpacking feature. Due to a unique valve design, slurry is pumped directly into the column, enabling the column to be packed and unpacked without the removal of the top flow cell. By enclosing operations, exposure between the operator and the chromatographic media is drastically limited.
