Millichilling® Normal Flow Filtration System

An economical, state of the art filtration method ensuring wine quality and flavor at high yields while preserving the environment

For years, the diatomaceous earth filters used before microbiological stabilization have presented significant drawbacks. Careful handling of materials is required to assure operator safety, and disposal methods to meet environmental standards are expensive. If the standard Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF) technology does not meet the requirements with regards to plugging issues and degrading recirculation, ceramic systems may be suitable but investment is higher.

The Millichilling® Normal Flow Filtration System is designed to optimize all clarification steps prior to microbiological stabilization in wine production: after chilling, after clarification method, and after finning operations. This innovative solution ensures wine quality and flavor while saving costs and protecting the environment.
