Gasliner Cartridge Housings
Description
The Gasliner™ 316L stainless steel filter housings are
designed for all applications where gas stream needs to be sterilised.
This range has been developed to insure a safe protection of both the product
and the environment in critical fermentation processes. The features have been
optimized to increase sterility assurance, while maintaining a low pressure
drop for economy.
A Certificate of Quality (type 2.2 according to
EN10204) is provided with the product to confirm components conformity and list
QA lot release criteria.
Versatility
These housings are available with all types of inlet/outlet
connections, complying to European standards, to directly fit on all types of
tanks.
Fully designed for practicality of in situ integrity
testing of hydrophobic filters (HydroCorr Test).
Safety
The bayonet style (code 7) connection assures a secure lock
of the cartridge in the housing base in case of reverse pressure.
An
extensive validation study was conducted to qualify the product design. This
consisted of testing pressure rating, corrosion resistance, cleanability and
steamability.
Economy
These housings have been developed using a wind tunnel to minimize pressure drop; this allows reduced filtration system cost and lower operating expenses.
Cartridges Used
One 5", 10", 20", 30" or 40" cartridge filter, Code 7 (2-226 O-rings with locking tabs and spear)
