| Millex filter units have set the standard for reliable small volume filtration. They are available in 4, 13, 25, and 33 mm diameters with a choice of membrane types. Fifty millimeter devices are also available with hydrophobic PTFE membrane for use in vacuum line protection, sterilizing gases, venting sterile containers, and sterilizing or clarifying organic solutions. The 33 mm diameter provides more membrane surface area for faster flow and lower operating pressure than standard 25 mm devices.
Devices with Millipore Express (PES) membrane provide both high flow and low protein binding. For ultra-low protein binding, use a device with Durapore (PVDF) membrane. | |||
