EndoGRO Advanced Media Formulations for Endothelial Cell Culture
EndoGRO media provide an optimal cell culture environment for many types of endothelial cells, including HUVEC, aortic endothelial cells, and other human large vessel and microvascular endothelial cells. These low-serum media formulations have been shown to grow endothelial cells at rates that match or exceed commercially available serum-containing media, while maintaining excellent cell morphology.
Four media formulations are available:
- EndoGRO-LS: Low-serum culture media for human endothelial cells, HUVEC, aortic endothelial cells, and other large vessel endothelial cells
- EndoGRO-VEGF: Low-serum, VEGF-supplemented media for rapid proliferation of human endothelial cells, HUVEC, aortic endothelial cells and other large vessel endothelial cells
- EndoGRO-MV: Low-serum culture media for human microvascular endothelial cells
- EndoGRO-MV-VEGF: Low-serum, VEGF-supplemented media for rapid proliferation of human microvascular endothelial cells

EndoGRO Human Umbilical Vein Endothelial Cells (HUVEC)
EndoGRO HUVEC are cultured for only one passage before cryopreservation to ensure the highest viability and plating efficiency. When cultured in EndoGRO low serum media formulations, EndoGRO HUVECs proliferate for at least 15 population doublings at rates equal or greater than standard serum-supplemented media. EndoGRO HUVECs have not been exposed to antimicrobials or phenol red, providing a model system with a more physiological environment.

Human Gingival Epithelial Cells
Millipore’s normal human gingival epithelial cells from CELLnTEC, also called oral keratinocytes or oral epithelial cells, are a convenient source of readily available cell cultures available from either single or pooled donors. They are cryopreserved at the end of primary culture, and sold as a kit with 500 mls of optimized PCT (progenitor cell targeted) medium. CELLnTEC PCT medium enhances the growth of undifferentiated progenitor cell populations, and ultimately increases the longevity and proliferation of the cell culture.

Millitrace Nanog GFP Reporter Mouse Embryonic Stem Cell Kit
Millipore has developed mouse embryonic stem cells that express humanized mulleri green fluorescent protein (hmGFP) under the control of the mouse Nanog promoter. These cells provide a quick, non-invasive way to identify factors involved in embryonic stem cell differentiation, or to study the role of Nanog and other factors in stem cell maintenance and self-renewal. Millipore also provides mouse embryonic stem cells that constitutively express hmGFP and optimized expansion medium to help maintain expression of the transgene.

Recombinant Human Platelet-Derived Growth Factor-AA
Millipore is pleased to release a new recombinant human platelet-derived growth factor-AA (PDGF-AA) protein. PDGF is a major mitogenic and chemotactic factor for cells of mesenchymal origin such as fibroblasts, smooth muscle cells, and osteoblasts. Our recombinant PDGF-AA is thoroughly tested for bioactivity, purity, and endotoxin levels, and is available in bulk sizes for large scale studies.

MultiScreen-Mesh Plates with 96-Well Receiver Plate
The MultiScreen-Mesh 96-well filter plate and receiver plate fit together with a lid to provide a self-contained, high-throughput system for invasion and migration assays, whole organism screening assays, or washing/separating cell aggregates. Plates are available in four different mesh sizes for a wide variety of applications. Separations can be accomplished by gentle centrifugation or gravity flow.

Millicell Preloaded Hanging Inserts
The new assembly saves time and labor in co-culture and cell-based assays including angiogenesis, chemotaxis, invasion, feeder layers, tumor cell metastasis, and immunohistochemistry.Millicell inserts are plastic cell culture wells with porous, translucent membrane bottoms that allow cells to be “fed” from both the apical and basolateral sides. As a result, the cells form high integrity monolayers; studies have shown that this type of cell growth and function more closely resembles cells grown in vivo.

Fast-Trap Adeno-Associated Virus (AAV) Purification and Concentration Kit
Fast-Trap kits contain all the components you need to purify viruses from crude samples or the expressed recombinant transgene. The new Fast-Trap AAV kit can completely purify high quality, recombinant AAV in less than 10 minutes. Fast-Trap Kits are also available for adenovirus and lentivirus purification. The kits yield concentrated virus in the exchange buffer of choice, and are suitable for in vitro and animal studies.
