We’re initiating a rigorous test program to give you the confidence you need. Each product with the Stem Cell Tested label has been proven across three manufacturing lots to maintain pluripotency based on cell morphology and marker expression.

Stericup® and Steritop®

Millipore’s Stericup and Steritop filters with Express™ PLUS membrane were the first items to be tested under this initiative. After filtering media through these filtration devices, stem cells were passaged five times and tested for pluripotency with no negative effect.

Millicell ®

Millipore’s Millicell 24-well plate is validated for use with stem cells. The tests involved growing murine stem cells on Millicell plates for five passages, then confirming pluripotency by cell morphology and staining for alkaline phosphatase, NANOG, and Oct-4.
