Fast Flow with High Throughput

The asymmetric pore structure of the Millipore Express PLUS membrane gives it greater throughput than other membranes. This can be especially important when filtering serum or other protein-aqueous solutions.

Low Binding

Membranes with low protein binding ensure that key growth factors and proteins are not absorbed into the filter. Millipore Express PLUS membrane provides low protein binding with fast flow rates. For lowest protein binding, choose a device with Durapore (PVDF) membrane.

47 mm membrane disks with a 0.22 µm pore size were challenged with DMEM with 10% PES.

Membrane disks with a 0.22 µm pore size were offered a 1 mg/mL solution of ¹²⁵l labeled lgG. The chart shows protein binding after incubation (normalized to membrane surface area).
