Our cAMP and cGMP HTS Immunoassay Kit are highly sensitive, competitive immunoassay kits for quantitative determination of cAMP and cGMP, respectively, levels using a chemiluminescent readout.Cyclic AMP (cAMP) is an important second messenger downstream of many Gs and Gi/o coupled GPCRs. cAMP mediates metabolism, cell growth and other cellular functions while regulating cardiovascular, neuronal, immunological and others at the whole animal level.
Cyclic GMP (cGMP) is a second messenger that is produced following the activation of many GPCRs and effects the actions of many cGMP-modulated proteins, including ion channels, kinases and phosphodiesterases. cGMP accumulation promotes several cellular function including glycogenlysis and smooth muscle cell relaxation.
