Instrumentation
The Luminex 200
This compact lab analysis system integrates lasers, optics, fluidics, a controller, advanced digital signal processing, and an XY Platform in a 17” x 20” footprint. Newest Version Analysis Software, PC with monitor and Bar Code Reader included. The system enables simultaneous assays of up to 100 analytes per well of a 96 well microtiter plate.
The Luminex 200 is specifically designed to enhance the use of xMAP technology in a laboratory setting. Key features include: flexible data analysis package, user friendly functions, flexible assay design features, bar code reader for enhanced efficiency and multiple formats for generating data reports.
The system includes a low profile 96 well microplate interface for walk-away operation and robotic capability and a sheath delivery system that connects to the 20L sheath container and provides a continual flow of sheath fluid for up to 48 hours of operation.
FLEXMAP 3D
The FLEXMAP 3D is the latest multiplexing system launched by Luminex Corporation utilizing proven xMAP Technology. There are many new significant features not seen before in previous Luminex systems.
- Customer Driven – Usability enhancements based on ten years incorporated customer feedback

3.1 xPONENT : An Intuitive Tool Developed Specifically for The Luminex xMAP System
xPONENT 3.1 features an optional touch screen for ease of use
Millipore is proud to be one of the few Luminex partners to offer xPONENT software, bringing the power of integration and automation to your lab to improve workflow efficiency and to help analyze and oranize your data. 3.1 xPONENT software is easy to use and provides the flexibility to perform both protein and nucleic acid testing on one Luminex system. The 3.1 xPONENT software is also compatible with the upcoming magnetic bead (MagPlex beads) assays.xPONENT Standard Software features include:
- Intuitive graphical interface with simplified workflow and applications
- Assay specific reporter gene gain levels optimize assay sensitivity
- New data archiving functions for managing batches, products, kits and lots
- New XML data output for ease of data analysis

3.1 xPONENT software can be ordered with the Luminex 200 System. 3.1 xPONENT software is backwards compatible with the Luminex 100*/200 Systems and upgrades are available for the software package with the new calibration kit, verification kit and the new Automated Maintenance Plate (AMP).

Templates
Product and Kit Templates for xPONENT software can be downloaded for all MILLIPLEX MAP Kits.Select your assay by clicking here:
Download the recommended protocol template (.lxt file) and the appropriate kit lot template (.lxk file) and save in an appropriate folder for easy access by your xPONENT software. When setting up the batch for your assay, import these files to your software, edit the protocol by deleting the analytes that are not in your kit, save under a new name and setup the batch corresponding to your experiment.
