Ubiquitin Antibodies, Proteins and Enzymes
Analyze Ubiquitin pathways with new Millipore antibodies, proteins and inhibitors from Millipore. Ubiquitination is a key mechanism for protein catabolism in mammalian cells. The line includes antibodies against the 20S and 19S subunits of the 26S Proteasome, recombinant proteins, conjugating and deconjugating enzymes and ubiquitin inhibitors.

These products complement our comprehensive line of reagents for cell signaling, including an extensive offering of primary and secondary antibodies. We now offer an extensive portfolio of Antibodies against the key components of the 26S Protoeasome, including the 20S Proteaomse, 19S Regulator and non-ATPase subunits. In addition, Millipore offers a comprehensive range of proteins/enzymes involved in both conjugation and deconjugation of the ubiquitin subunits.

ChemiKine Cytokine and Growth Factor ELISAs
Millipore’s ChemiKine™ product line classifies a series of sandwich and competitive ELISAs that accurately screen samples for important cytokine or growth factor levels. Each kit is complete with a 96-well plate, all required reagents and protocol details to perform the ELISA. No other reagent purchases are necessary. ChemiKine™ Sandwich ELISAs detect “free” forms of cytokine/growth factor in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. A plate coated with a cytokine monoclonal antibody is used to specifically capture that protein in sample. Simultaneously, a biotinylated rabbit polyclonal antibody is supplied to detect the same target using a different epitope.

Additionally, Millipore provides ChemiKine™ Competitive ELISAs to measure “total” (bound and free) cytokine/growth factor in serum, plasma, serum-free biological fluids and culture supernatnants. This highly sensitive assay is not hindered by autoantibodies, soluble receptors or binding proteins that might interfere with most sandwich assays. Using the competitive assay system, a plate, coated with a secondary antibody, is used to capture a polyclonal cytokine/growth factor antibody that has been linked with its target protein in sample, standard or biotinylated cytokine (competitive ligand). The ligand, incubated with sample or standard, competes for the antibody binding sites on the polyclonal antibody.
