Immunochemistry
Antibodies are powerful tools in the study of cells. They can be used in a variety of applications from identifying proteins (western blotting), to separating proteins (IP), examining protein expression (IHC/ICC), sorting and classifying cells (FACS), and determining protein concentration (ELISA). These techniques can be accomplished by examining the immunochemical reaction that occurs between the antibody and protein: the antigen-antibody interaction.
The formation of the antibody-antigen complex is dependent on the antibody’s ability to recognize its specific antigen. Advances in antibody technology have provided insight into this complex protein interaction by not only allowing the detection of specific post-translational modifications, but the degree to which a particular protein has been modified.
We provide one of the comprehensive collections of high quality antibodies. Offering modification state specific antibodies for a range of research areas and a large panel of conjugated secondary antibodies used to diversify the range of applications with which their respective primary antibodies can be used.
