A New Spin on Antibody Purification

Montage Antibody Purification Kits are designed for fast and easy antibody purification from serum, ascites or cell culture supernatants. The kits include spin columns pre-packed with high capacity PROSEP-A or G media. There are no pumps to setup. No columns to pack. All you need is a centrifuge to purify 10–20 mg in less than 60 minutes.
The protocol is easy to follow and, unlike traditional gravity flow methods, the use of centrifugal purification allows for walk-away convenience. Results show that the spin columns can be regenerated up to 10X with no loss of binding capacity or reduced specificity.

The fastest, easiest way to purify up to 30 mg of antibody from serum, ascites, or cell culture supernatants. Simply place a PROSEP spin column in its centrifuge tube; spin to bind; wash; and elute. The entire procedure takes less than 60 minutes.

Each spin column can be reused up to 10 times. Columns are available prepacked with either Millipore’s PROSEP-A High Capacity or PROSEP-G media. They are also available in convenient kits that include Steriflip devices for prefiltration (to maximize the life of the spin columns) and Amicon Ultra centrifugal filters for one-step desalting and concentration.
