Isopore (Polycarbonate) and
PET (polyethylene terephthalate) Membranes
| These membranes are recommended for all analyses in which the sample is viewed on the surface of the membrane. The Isopore membrane is composed of polycarbonate film, which has a smooth, glass-like surface for clear sample observation. PET is made from polyester and can also be used for easy visulization of cells. The unique manufacturing process of these membranes ensure a precise pore diameter and a consistent pore size for accurate separation of samples by size or migration. These membranes do not stain resulting in low background interference and have good chemical compatibility. They are easily prepared for SEM and TEM visualization techniques and they are compatible with cellular and/or fluorescent stains. | Polycarbonate membrane, 0.4µm | |
