Unlike resins used in service deionization that demand chemical regeneration or costly resin replacement, ion exchange resins in the Elix module are continually regenerated by a small electric current — a fact that gives the pure water produced by the Elix Advantage system an unprecedented level of consistent high quality with no need for external chemical regeneration.
