Benefit No. 9: Bacteria under control
A powerful bactericidal UV lamp sanitizes the pure water produced by the Elix Advantage system as it leaves the system and enters the storage reservoir. During storage, bacterial levels remain low due to the fact that the water is recirculated at regular intervals from the tank back to the system's UV lamp.
A second UV lamp in the reservoir's Automatic Sanitization Module (ASM) can provide up to 60 minutes a day of UV exposure, for an added germicidal effect on the stored water.
Finally, the E POD dispenser is designed to prevent any dead legs and to allow water delivery through a 0.22 µm final filter.
All of these features enable the Elix Advantage system to produce pure water with bacteria counts of less than 0.1cfu/ml and provide optimum water quality for bacteria-sensitive applications.
