Celliance Opens New Kankakee, Illinois Distribution Center

ATLANTA, GA – January 18, 2006 – Serologicals Corporation (NASDAQ: SERO) announced today that Celliance, its wholly-owned subsidiary, is opening its Global Product Distribution Center in Kankakee, Illinois. Celliance made the decision to re-locate the center from its previous location in Milford, MA in October 2005. The 18,000 square foot facility is located at 2407 Eastgate Industrial Parkway in Kankakee.

Those in attendance at today’s opening ceremonies included Illinois Congressman Jerry Weller, Kankakee Mayor Don Green and David Hinderliter, President of the Kankakee-River Valley Chamber of Commerce. David L. Bellitt, President of Celliance, James J. Kramer, Vice President, Corporate Operations, for Serologicals Corporation and John D. Nelson, Site General Manager for Kankakee were also on hand for today’s opening.
