Millipore Hosts A&E Seminar Series on Water System Design for Scientific Laboratories

Billerica, Massachusetts --- August 11, 2003 --- Millipore will host free on-site luncheon seminars to discuss the design and engineering of total water purification systems for scientific laboratories. Developed specifically for architects, engineers and facility managers, the seminars present design criteria and guidelines to incorporate total water purification systems in architectural and engineering plans. The A&E Seminar Series is one program within Millipore’s overall service model to facilitate the efficient and effective configuration of total water purification systems for a single lab, group of labs or an entire laboratory building.

At each seminar, Millipore application specialists will visit customer sites to discuss the common contaminants in water and explain how Millipore technologies bring ion-free, pyrogen-free, and organic-free water to the laboratory. A copy of Millipore’s Architects and Engineers’ Notebook will be provided for the customer’s resource library. This unique tool features diagrams, drawings, and specifications for the selection and installation of water purification systems. In addition, architects participating in Millipore’s seminar will receive American Institute of Architects (AIA) credit, as Millipore is a Continuing Education System Registered Provider.
