The Milliflex filtration system uses convenient Milliflex filtration funnels, an integrated solution for delivering reliable, accurate results in high-throughput production environments. 		 
     
Milliflex filtration units are based on membrane filtration, the bioburden testing method recommended by the standard pharmacopeias (European, United States, and Japanese). Millipore offers these ready-to-use, sterile filter units in a choice of two different membranes–mixed esters of cellulose or Durapore membrane (hydrophilic polyvinylidene fluoride, PVDF). Milliflex filtration units can be used with either liquid media or agar cassettes. A complete line of agar-based media manufactured and QC tested according to pharmaceutical requirements is available in ready-to-use cassettes.
