Study Design
A 9 day cultivation step with three subpassages, during which time samples are taken for analysis, is combined with a highly specific ELISA based detection system, targeting the P27 viral protein. If any of the samples taken during subpassaging reads positive in the ELISA, the sample is considered positive. This assay setup enables us to offer a robust and sensitive method with a detection level that meets and even exceeds, by a factor of ten, the requirements in the USP and EP.
