About the Southern California Stem Cell Consortium (SCSCC) The consortium was formed to promote collaboration among stem cell and developmental biology researchers from numerous Southern California institutions. With specialties in multiple disciplines, the consortium deals with a broad range of scientific topics, as well as issues in ethics and public policy. Organized by the La Jolla Member institutions of the Southern California Stem Cell Consortium (Burnham Institute, Salk Institute, Scripps Institute, and University of California San Diego).
