Optimizing Our Fleet
Employee transport represents a significant amount of Millipore’s overall environmental impact.
In 2007, Millipore is upgrading our 258-vehicle corporate auto fleet in the United States to include a significant number of hybrid vehicles. We anticipate savings of more than $1 million and reduction of approximately 2,000 metric tons of CO2 over three years. Visit us again later this year to learn more about this effort.
A related effort, at our New England sites we have selected PlanetTran as our preferred provider of private car and airport transport services.
