| ChromaSorb membrane adsorber is an innovative, single-use, flow-through anion exchanger designed for the removal of trace impurities including host cell protein (HCP), DNA, endotoxins and viruses from monoclonal antibody or other protein feedstocks. Unlike traditional anionic resins and membranes, ChromaSorb membrane adsorber provides robust impurity removal over a wider conductivity range. The ability to consistently and reliably perform at greater salt concentrations significantly reduces buffer volumes typically used at this step. This single-use device significantly reduces validation requirements, capital equipment expenditures, time and labor when compared to traditional column based anion exchange resins.
