Choose a Lateral-Flow Membrane Card That Works to Your Advantage
Millipore offers laminated membrane cards in both standard and custom sizes, with 6 Hi-Flow Plus membrane choices.
Choose a Membrane
Choose from 6 membrane types, each cast on a clear, 2-mil polyester film backing. Each membrane type has a distinct flow rate range, so you can choose the one that exhibits the speed and sensitivity to suit your assay.
Choose a Card Size
Standard cards: 6 cm x 30 cm (± 0.05 cm)
Custom cards: Cards can be manufactured to lengths between 25 cm and 40 cm (± 2 mm) and widths between 3.8 cm and 10 cm (± 2 mm)
Both standard and custom cards are supplied with an acrylic PSA adhesive with coated-paper release liners.
Choose a Card Backing
Standard backing material: 10 mil (± 50 um), white polystyrene
Ordering Information
Standard Cards
Standard cards are available from stock in packages of 100 cards per box. One box minimum.
Custom Cards
There is a minimum order quantity for custom cards. Contact your local Business Development Manager for details and quote. Product is shipped in quantities of 100 per box. Entire quantity must be shipped within 1 year of customer order. Please note: order forms for custom membrane cards may be obtained from your Millipore OEM Business Development Manager.
Lead-time
• 2–4 weeks for standard membrane cards in stock.
• 12–14 weeks for initial orders for custom membrane cards.
• Lead-time for customized orders begins when Millipore and the customer approve a signed drawing and customer purchase order. Subsequent shipments from initial custom orders will be made in less than two weeks. Additional custom orders require a lead-time of 12–14 weeks.
Product Storage
• This product has a shelf-life of two years when stored at <50% relative humidity and <25 °C.
• Product must not be stored in direct sunlight. To allow for best adhesion, it is recommended that the cards be allowed to sit for 24 hours after lamination of sample and adsorbent pads before cutting into test strips. Millipore will not be responsible for or replace a product that is damaged due to improper manufacturing techniques.
Shipping and Returns
Because of the inherently fragile nature of nitrocellulose membranes, minor amounts of nitrocellulose debris may be present as a result of shipping the product (NC may chip off ends of cards). The presence of this minor nitrocellulose debris does not impede functionality. Therefore, Millipore will not accept a quality return (boxes or lots) that results from minor scratching or chipping on ends of cards.
