| Avian Leukosis Virus Screening Assay Since Avian Leukosis viruses are prevalent in livestock and environment, there are a number of possible entry points into a manufacturing chain. These must be included in your risk assesment and testing strategy. We recommend testing all process materials used in the production of vaccines that have been in contact with material of avian origin for the presence of Avian Leukosis Viruses. This may include cell banks used to produce virusseeds or proteins, master and working virus seeds and media components.
